Nolimit City dropped Infernal Reels in 2024, and it's quickly become a favorite among high-volatility hunters. I've run dozens of sessions on Roobet using promo code CRYPTYT, and the mechanic depth here genuinely justifies the hype. If you're hunting for a slot that rewards pattern recognition and can hand you a 50,000x multiplier on a single spin, this is exactly what you're looking for. Let me walk you through what makes this demonic Megaways engine tick.
Overview
Infernal Reels strips away the typical medieval or luxury fantasy tropes and goes full demonic. The visual palette is dominated by deep reds, sulfurous yellows, and pitch-black backgrounds—think a hellscape rendered in high-definition slot machine language. The soundtrack complements this vibe with low, rumbling synths and occasional metallic crashes when the cascades fire.
What sets Infernal Reels apart from other extreme-volatility Megaways titles is its commitment to a cohesive mechanic suite. This isn't window dressing; every feature—xWays symbols, cascading wins, expanding reels—works together to create a session that feels intentional rather than slot-machine roulette. On stream I've seen viewers chase this slot for hours because the feature interaction actually feels rewarding when it hits.
Gameplay & Features
Infernal Reels uses a dynamic Megaways structure with expanding reels that adjust the number of paylines on each cascade. Here's what you're interacting with:
- xWays Mechanic: Certain symbols land as xWays tiles, multiplying the number of possible winning combinations. A single xWays symbol can transform a mediocre spin into a cascade chain worth chasing.
- Cascading Wins: After each winning combo, symbols vanish and new ones fall into place. This creates a chain-reaction potential where a single spin can cascade 5, 10, or even 15 times—each cascade resetting your multiplier opportunities.
- Expanding Reels: Reel heights increase dynamically during feature play, adding symbols and paylines on each cascade. This directly increases your odds of hitting a consecutive winning combo.
- Multiplier Wilds: Wild symbols land with attached multipliers (2x, 3x, 5x+). Stack these during a cascade and your payout scales exponentially.
- Free Spins Bonus: Scatter symbols trigger free spins with enhanced multiplier retention, meaning multipliers don't reset between cascades during the feature.
RTP, Volatility & Max Win
Let's be straight about the numbers. Infernal Reels carries a 96.1% RTP—solid but not exceptional. That means over 1,000 spins, the house edge sits around 3.9%. For a Nolimit City extreme-volatility title, 96.1% is actually fair; many competitors run lower.
The real story is extreme volatility. Your bankroll will swing hard. In my sessions, I've hit 20+ spins without bonus triggering, then landed a free-spins entry with a 3x multiplier wild and watched cascades build a 12,000x win. The flip side? I've also burned through $60 in ten minutes chasing the feature during dry stretches.
The max win of 50,000x is legitimately achievable—not a theoretical unicorn. This typically requires cascading free-spins with stacked multiplier wilds. During one session I watched a viewer hit 38,000x during the bonus. The variance is brutal, but for high-roller types and streamers, it's exactly the tension that makes the slot compelling. Plan your budget accordingly; this slot demands discipline.

Strategy & Tips
Infernal Reels isn't a game where a single strategy guarantees wins—extreme volatility doesn't work that way—but a few tactical approaches help maximize your session efficiency.
Bankroll Segmentation: Split your deposit into thirds. Use the first third to learn the mechanic at lower stakes ($0.20–$0.50). Use the second third to test medium stakes once you've seen bonus triggers. Reserve the final third for higher-stakes play or to chase if you've had early wins. This prevents emotional over-betting after a lucky cascade.

Free Spins Entry is the Real Game: Base-game wins rarely exceed 500x. The 50,000x max happens during the bonus. Once you trigger free spins, let the cascades play out. Don't chase during dry stretches—the RTP will average out over hundreds of spins, not dozens.
Watch the Multiplier Wild Stacks: If free spins land and your first cascade includes two or more multiplier wilds, stay invested. Three consecutive cascades with 2x+ wilds can produce a 5,000x+ outcome. Conversely, if free spins trigger but no multiplier wilds land in the first two cascades, accept the payout and reset.
